The EXCELeration Training and Consulting team is comprised of
specialists in sales, marketing, management and e-learning, whose combined career
experience spans over 90 years. Each member of the team is renowned and respected
in his/her respective specialty. The multidisciplinary backgrounds of our team offer
a balanced and comprehensive approach to marketing training.
Jim Petzing, Founder
Jim Petzing is founder and President of EXCELeration Training and Consulting. Jim leads the
EXCELeration training team, conceptualizes curriculum for all of the training seminars and
contributes to training executive management clients. Prior to founding EXCELeration
Training and Consulting in 2001, Jim's career spans over twenty years in various senior
promotion marketing executive positions at notable companies such as General Foods, Nestlé
Foods, Citigroup, and Colangelo Synergy Marketing. Today, under Jim's leadership, EXCELeration
has helped raised the bar for marketing strategy excellence for clients like Kraft, IBM,
Masterfoods, McDonald's, Integer Group and Marketing Drive.
Jim is a renowned speaker and educator. He previously served on the Integrated Marketing
Communications faculty at Loyola University Chicago's Graduate School of Business. He is
a frequent conference speaker at industry conferences and events such as Promo Expo,
Association of Promotion Marketing Agencies Worldwide international conference and the
Canadian Promotional Marketing Conference.
Cindy Kozlowski-Hanlon, VP of Learning
Cindy Hanlon is a trainer, facilitator and curriculum designer at EXCELeration Training and
Consulting. Cindy brings ten years of advertising agency account management experience at
Leo Burnett and DDB Needham as well as eight years of strategy, process and organizational
design consulting to her workshops. Throughout her career she has worked with many of the
world's most respected brand companies: Procter & Gamble, Kraft, McDonald's,
M&M/Mars, Keebler, and Tropicana.
Eileen Robiso-Mrowka, Director of Learning
Eileen Mrowka is the e-learning specialist at EXCELeration Training & Consulting,
responsible for the design of all e-learning programs. Eileen brings over ten years of
training development and management experience from ASA Education Foundation, a national
education foundation serving industrial distribution professionals. She also founded
Symphony Consulting, Inc., an e-learning consultancy, prior to joining EXCELeration.
Eileen holds a Masters of Science in Communications from Northwestern University.
George Robertson, Trainer
George Robertson is a trainer at EXCELeration Training & Consulting, contributing to the
design of curriculum and leading consultative selling seminars. George is founder and
President of Better Leaders, Inc., an executive management consultancy firm. George
contributes his executive management training expertise from his thirty years experience in
various management and leadership positions at Viacom as well as his success as an
entrepreneur, founding Consultative Resources Corporation and The Robertson Group, Inc.,
now known as Better Leaders, Inc.
George holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami.
Amy Engstrom, Vice President of Learning
Amy Engstrom is a trainer at EXCELeration Training & Consulting, contributing to the
design of curriculum and leading integrated marketing communications seminars. Amy is an
instructor of graduate curriculum at Medill School of Integrated Marketing Communications
at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL. She is co-creator and co-instructor [with Stanley
Tannenbaum and John Greening] of the graduate course "The Power of an Idea". Amy also
teaches "Principles of Advertising and Sales Promotion Strategies and Tactics". Amy is
also an adjunct professor at the School of Business and Economics at Elmhurst College,
Elmhurst, IL. Amy brings nearly twenty years of experience in advertising and integrated
marketing communications from DDB Chicago, and Foote, Cone & Belding where she held
leadership roles developing strategies for renowned global brands such as McDonald's,
Budweiser, Kraft, and Nestlé. Amy's career in advertising and marketing is decorated with
awards such as the Cannes Grand Prix, Gold Lion, Gold Effie, Gold Pencil, and Marketer of
the Year.
Amy holds a Masters of Science in Advertising from Northwestern University.
